TVET Philosophy

This unit specifies the competencies required to apply understanding of philosophy of education.  It involves demonstrating understanding of branches of philosophy, functions of philosophy and examining the concept of education. 

Education Administration

This unit covers the knowledge and skills needed to Apply Education Administration. It provides an in depth exploration of practical aspects of education administration. It is designed to equip students with the knowledge,skills and attitude necessary to succeed as education administrators  and leaders in today's dynamic and complex education world.This unit  will equip the students  with appropriate  knowledge, skills and attitude that are necessary for effective leadership and decision making crucial to education institution. The unit has four modules which includes: managing institution leadership, managing human capital, managing curriculum and instruction and managing institutional resources and assets. 

Sociology of Education, Gender & Inclusivity

This unit specifies the competencies required by a trainer to facilitate the application of social skills in education, gender, and inclusivity. It focuses on enabling trainers to create, manage, and promote an equitable, safe, and inclusive learning environment within Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.

Educational Psychology in TVET

This unit focuses on understanding and applying key educational psychology concepts, human growth and development, intelligence, learning theories, discipline management, personality development, and motivation techniques to improve trainee performance.

Essential Skills

This unit covers the competencies required to apply essential skills approaches for a technical trainer, covering personal management, interpersonal communication, safety, teamwork, and professional growth

FAB II (Elearning Resources)

The unit OD/C/7250FAB II (Flexible and Blended Learning II) focuses on equipping trainers with the competencies to design, develop, and manage eLearning resources and environments. This unit is generally designed to span 40 hours.
